Primitive Look Sideboard in Midnight Brew chalk paint
This 1986 sideboard was stamped with the exact year it was manufactured so well in need of an update when we received it. The drop pulls were not original and had a square shape pushed into round holes on the drawers and doors. So a total makeover was required. The base has been painted all over in Midnight Brew Premium chalk paint ( our Winter 2024 Limited colour) with Dor Greige wax to give a washed look to the base, this toned the brown down in this colour and bought out the more charcoal tones. The top has been finished in a smooth mix of Velvet Luxe paint; Midnight Brew and Potters Clay. Matte lacquer over this gives it a protected hard-wearing surface.
A fresh new look for a tired yellow piece of furniture!
