Hackfall Industrial Look Drawers - commission
We gave an older style set of drawers a new twist with a rust industrial look using the limited edition Vintro paint colour Hackfall, a super deep dark green.
Paint Process:
Painted all over the body with subtle texture in Vintro Hackfall chalk paint, a lovely colour if you don't want something harsh but do want depth and colour in dark tones. Tinted wax in equal parts Dark wax, Clear wax and Victorian black chalk paint gave us an aged black topcoat. This has been applied to enhance the texture of the piece and give it a variegated look all over. We removed some of the detail from the piece being the old top back stand and ornate knobs. Replacing them with more simple cup pulls. We have finished with Vintage gold gilding wax for a touch of elegance.
