We've used a technique on this old TV cabinet / Armoire of blending paint colours together to create an ombre look. The colours are gently painted against each other and then blend into each other, a water bottle for misting between the colours helping the colours blend together where they met and a good quality brush really helped it along. We used all Vintro Chalk paint which can be regenerated with the water if it dries.

The top colour we started with Pearl the white, second colour is a made up colour of 50/50 Pearl and Georgian Sky and then third colour is 100% Georgian Sky. It was then finished all over in a tinted wax of Nymph and clear wax approx a 50 / 50mix. I will be using this technique again, it was really fun and I want to try some other colour combos and some blending, it covered really well too.

Inside we kept it very simple painting all over in NO seal champagne waltz, just 2 coats so the inside was all cleaned up and did not need to be waxed or lacquered.
