An interpretation of the soft peach colour used in Edward John Poynter’s 1882 depiction of Psyche in the Temple of Love. Painted in Victorian neo-classicism style which was based on Classical Greek and Roman art inspired by archaeological discoveries from Herculaneum and Pompeii.
