Stenciling to Add Detail to a Bland piece
•Posted on February 09 2017
Stenciling is not just limited to flat surfaces. We have dry brushed this old wooden crate to create an aged weathered wood look to create a base for our project. Then using the very top part only of the Paris Swag stencil we have taped this in place on the crate and then lightly stenciled in black chalk paint the wording Paris over the top. This has created a beautiful layered look and made our crate way more interesting than a plain brown box.
Have fun with your stencils!
